+1 Stone Skipping Pets & Eggs Guide
Hatch smarter, stack Skill multipliers, and time Luck Potions.
Pets multiply everything you do
Pets in +1 Stone Skipping are companions that grant Skill multipliers. Unlike stones, which add Skill, pets scale the Skill you already earn from pads, throws, stones, rebirths, and Skill Potions. That is why a high-rarity pet can leapfrog hours of additive shopping—and why eggs feel expensive early. Hatch too soon and you starve stone upgrades; hatch too late and you leave multiplicative power on the table.
Pets keep through Rebirth, the same as stones. Every multiplier you hatch remains part of your stack forever. Read this page with the Pets Tier List for rarity priority and the Stones Guide so you know when to stop buying throwables and start rolling eggs.
When to start hatching
Early game: Prioritize stones. Pick up a cheap Common Egg only if a code gifts one (SECRET-style rewards often include a Common Egg plus Luck Potion) or if the egg costs pocket change relative to your next stone.
After 1–2 rebirths: Open a small egg budget once your early stone row is covered and you have unlocked a stronger pad (often the 4x station). Multipliers now accelerate rebirth recovery.
Mid to late: Wins from deep river zones should mostly feed eggs, especially when a Luck Potion (~2x luck for ~10 minutes) is active. High-rarity multipliers are the main way to answer new World Skill walls—see Throw Farther and Updates.
Eggs, rarity, and expected value
Eggs hatch into random pets weighted by rarity. Higher rarity generally means a higher Skill multiplier. Exact drop tables shift with Worlds and shop refreshes, but the player-facing rule is stable:
- Buy the best egg tier you can afford in batches, not one lonely roll when broke.
- Drink a Luck Potion before the batch.
- Equip the highest multiplier pets you own—do not leave winners in storage.
- Replace low-rarity fillers as soon as better rolls land.
Common and uncommon pets teach the system. Rare and epic pets carry mid Worlds. Legendary and mythic-tier rolls (and premium pack outliers when you choose to buy them) define endgame Skill per second. Rank details live on the Pets Tier List.
Luck Potions and hatching sessions
Luck Potions do nothing for river distance while you train. Save them for hatch windows:
- Bank Wins until you can open several eggs in one sitting.
- Activate Luck.
- Hatch the batch back-to-back.
- Re-equip best pets.
- Return to your best training pad—optionally with a Skill Potion—to feel the new multiplier.
Codes and dailies are the friendly way to stock Luck Potions. Check Codes before a planned hatch night so you are not burning Wins without the luck window.
Pets, stones, and rebirth together
Remember the stack:
- Stones add Skill
- Pets multiply Skill
- Rebirths add permanent multipliers and higher caps
- Potions temporarily double Skill, Wins, or Luck
A pet never replaces rebirth discipline. If your meter sits at 100%, rebirth first—multipliers cannot help Skill that is capped. Likewise, a legendary pet on a starter stone still wants the next additive upgrade when it is cheap. The systems are partners.
World eggs and shop refreshes
Each World can introduce new eggs with higher ceilings. After you unlock a World by clearing the final river zone:
- Scan new egg prices against your Wins rate
- Compare the new stone row (sometimes a stone still unlocks the paying zones faster)
- Plan Luck Potion sessions around the new egg, not leftover Commons if a better tier is live
Premium Robux packs occasionally advertise extreme multipliers; they are optional. Free progression through Wins, rebirths, and standard eggs remains viable—the game launched as a free Roblox experience with a high like rate for a reason.
Practical pet checklist
- Stones for your current stage mostly bought?
- Wins enough for a multi-egg batch?
- Luck Potion ready?
- Inventory space / equip slots cleared for new drops?
- Best pets equipped before you return to pads or the river?
- Rebirth meter not sitting unused at 100%?

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Do pets disappear when I Rebirth?
No. Hatched pets and their Skill multipliers stay with you through every rebirth, stacking with new permanent rebirth bonuses.
When should I spend Wins on eggs?
After early stone upgrades are in place and you can afford batches. Use Luck Potions during those hatch sessions for better rarity odds.
Are pet multipliers better than stones?
Pets multiply Skill and dominate late game. Stones add Skill and dominate early game. You want both; only the spend order changes.
What does a Luck Potion do for pets?
It boosts luck for roughly ten minutes at about 2x, improving your odds while hatching eggs. It does not make the stone fly farther by itself.
