Potions Guide for +1 Stone Skipping

Potions are short windows, not permanent power

In +1 Stone Skipping, potions are temporary multipliers — typically about 2x for roughly ten minutes. They do not replace stones, pets, or rebirth. They amplify the session you are already set up to run. Drink at the wrong time and you burn a free code reward while standing in the Shop. Drink at the right time and you clear a new river band, bank a stone upgrade, or hatch a better pet in one sitting.

This guide covers the three bottles you will see from Codes, dailies, and event gifts: Skill, Win, and Luck. Pair it with Throw Farther for river sessions, Pets for hatch sessions, and Rebirth so you never sit on a 100% meter during a buff.

Skill Potion — pad and push sessions

A Skill Potion speeds Skill gain from training pads and bounce chains. Use it when:

  • You just redeemed codes and need to reach the next river zone.
  • You rebirth and want a fast recovery on your best pad.
  • You are one Skill band short of clearing a World’s final zone — see Worlds Guide.

Do not drink Skill while AFK in a menu or while shopping for eggs. Equip your best stone and pets first (Stones, Pets), stand on the highest unlocked training station, then activate. After a short pad burst, throw to convert the new Skill into Wins.

Win Potion — only when zones already pay

A Win Potion multiplies Wins from bounce zones. It is wasted if your stone still dies in the first bands. Checklist before you drink:

  1. You can already reach mid or late zones on the current World.
  2. You have a clear spend target (next stone, then eggs).
  3. A Skill Potion is either already used or not needed for this block.

Best pattern: Skill + Win together once distance is unlocked, then spend Wins immediately on the next stone upgrade. Early tip still holds — stones before pets — so the Win Potion funds throw power, not a lonely Common Egg. Ranked buys: Stones Tier List and Pets Tier List.

Luck Potion — hatch sessions only

A Luck Potion boosts egg hatch odds for about ten minutes. It does nothing for river distance by itself. Save Luck for:

  1. Banking enough Wins for a multi-egg batch.
  2. Redeeming codes that gift Luck + eggs (for example SECRET-style rewards on the Codes Hub).
  3. Opening several eggs back-to-back while Luck is active.
  4. Re-equipping the best pets before you return to pads.

Never drink Luck at the start of a throw grind. Never drink Skill/Win at the start of a hatch night. Split your evenings: throw block first, hatch block second, or the reverse if eggs are the bottleneck.

Stacking with stones, pets, and rebirth

Potions multiply what you already have:

  • Stones add Skill — buy them so the Skill Potion has a stronger base.
  • Pets multiply Skill — equip best pets before any Skill window.
  • Rebirth adds permanent multipliers — take a ready 100% rebirth before a long potion session when possible so the buff rides the new permanent bonus.
  • Worlds raise Skill checks — a potion will not skip a World wall forever; it helps you clear the current final zone so the next map opens — Worlds, World 4, World 5.

If the Rebirth meter is already at 100%, reset first. Extra pad time past the cap does not raise Skill, potion or not.

Where potions come from

Primary free sources:

  • Promo codes — full table on Codes (SECRET2, 3000LIKES, WORLD4, 5KCCU, 10KCCU, SECRET, and verify-pass on WORLD5).
  • Daily / login style rewards when they appear in the UI.
  • Live Admin Abuse or world-drop gifts during peak events.

10KCCU is the standout CCU bundle when active: Skill + Win + Luck potions plus Wins and bonus Skill. Stage those three bottles for three different jobs, not one panicked drink-all click.

Redeem path reminder: Shop (left) → scroll bottom → Enter Code → Redeem. Codes are not case-sensitive. Discord: https://discord.com/invite/4H3EgrJwVd.

Sample session plans

Throw session (Skill + Win): Redeem codes → equip best stone/pets → confirm rebirth meter is clear → drink Skill (+ Win if zones already pay) → pad briefly → throw for bounce chains → buy next stone → optional rebirth if you hit 100%.

Hatch session (Luck): Bank Wins → redeem any Luck + egg codes → drink Luck → open a batch → equip winners → return to pads, optionally with a leftover Skill Potion.

World unlock push: Follow Throw Farther and Worlds. Use Skill to clear the final zone, then Win to fund the first stone on the new map.

Common potion mistakes

  • Drinking Win Potions while stuck in early water.
  • Drinking Luck during a river grind.
  • Burning all 10KCCU potions in the Shop queue during Admin Abuse.
  • Ignoring codes at the Shop bottom — see Getting Started.
  • Sitting at 100% Rebirth with a Skill Potion active.

Treat every potion as a calendar block on your session, not a bag flex. Ten focused minutes beat thirty minutes of buffs spent in menus.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How long do potions last in +1 Stone Skipping?

Most Skill, Win, and Luck potions last about ten minutes at roughly 2x. Exact values can change with balance patches, so watch the buff timer in-game.

Should I drink Skill and Win potions together?

Yes when you can already reach solid river zones. If throws still die early, drink Skill alone, train, then add Win once distance pays.

When should I use a Luck Potion?

Only during egg hatching. Bank Wins for a multi-egg batch, activate Luck, hatch back-to-back, then re-equip your best pets.

Do potions replace rebirth or better stones?

No. Potions are temporary. Stones, pets, and rebirth are permanent account power. Use potions to accelerate sessions on top of that stack.

Where do I get free potions?

Mostly from promo codes in the Shop, plus dailies and live event gifts. Check the Codes Hub and Discord before a planned throw or hatch night.
